Why do we have to use gaggle?

In order to comply with federal regulations for filtering and monitoring of communications, all students have been assigned an email account that will be filtered and monitored and archived by administration. These are the only email addresses that students will be able to access on the district network. Teachers also have an account within gaggle that students can email without the email getting blocked.

Logging in to gaggle?

Student usernames for gaggle will be first initial and last name. There will be some duplicates, [contact tech department if a student has difficulty logging in].
Example... Daniel Boone would login as: dboone@umasd.gaggle.net
Passwords format will be the same password as used in student log-in procedure.
